This is Just Me Talking About Myself……
Hi and Welcome!……..I’m Suchitra and I do the cooking, writing and photography (well my husband, Unni does most of the photography) around this website and blog.
I was born and brought up in Kerala, India. As my Dad had a transferable job, I had the opportunity to visit a lot of places, meet different types of people, understand different cultures and of course, my favourite, relish on different types of food.
Most of my education was completed in India. Having traveled a lot through the different states in India and abroad, I developed a taste for food. I like to taste different types of food and also try out different dishes at home.
At first I intended to be a Civil Engineer and studied engineering fully motivated to be just that.(Btw my Dad is a Civil Engineer as well….so I thought I had it in my genes..lols). One thing lead to another and years went by and now I am a Software Developer without ever planning to be one.
While things changed in my life, I still delved in my passion for cooking….whether it be for friends or family. The fortunate turn of events lead me to do this blog.(Of course…..with lot of encouragement and support from my husband and children) 🙂
In the cooking department, I am a food enthusiast with an appetite for almost anything! I love both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes but we are not strictly anything when it comes to eating. I try to cook things that are practical, delicious and interesting.
