Banana Blueberry Smoothie is a healthy, quick and simple smoothie. Great for an after-workout snack or just to enjoy on a hot day! This smoothie is a perfect substitute for breakfast. If you desire, you can prepare this smoothie the night before and refrigerate it.
In this recipe, I have used plain milk and yoghurt but you can also substitute them with almond milk or soya milk for a dairy free and vegan version. You can substitute strawberries with other berries like blueberries, raspberries or blackberries. After blending the smoothie if you find it very thick, you can add more milk. Sugar or honey or maple syrup can be used to sweeten this smoothie. If you do not desire to add any sweeteners, you can skip these. The natural sweetness of the fruits is enough.
