Bhel Puri

BHEL PURI

Bhel puri is a popular street food in Mumbai city of India. Bhel puri is a crispy, soft, tangy, spicy mixture made with puffed rice, peanuts, papdis, chutneys, steamed potatoes, beans and tomatoes. The salt, chutneys and spice powders in this recipe can be adjusted as per your liking. You can use ready-made chutneys too. In an earlier post I have shared the recipe for the chutneys, if you want to make it.  If you don’t have onions, then too you can make the bhel without onions.

Bhel puri has to be served immediately after it is made, otherwise the mixture will get soggy and unenjoyable.
