Chocolate topped caramel fudge is a variation of the easy milk fudge recipe made with sweetened condensed milk also using chocolate. This is an absolute favourite with both kids and adults. As a variation you can also add chocolate chips or nuts to give it a crunchier feel. You can also add edible glitter on the top for an appealing look…..not that it’s not appealing otherwise. These have a longer shelf life, say about 2 weeks, so you can make them ahead for parties. Try this recipe and you will love it absolutely….
Ingredients
- 1 can Condensed milk
- 400g white chocolate
- 100g dark chocolate
- ½ tsp salt
Method
- Place the white chocolate into a bowl and melt in a microwave, stirring occasionally. When melted add the Carnation Caramel and salt and stir thoroughly. As you stir, the mixture will thicken.
- Tip the warm mixture into a greased baking tray and spread evenly. Place in the fridge for 2 hours until hardened.
- Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave and pour over the fudge. Smooth and leave to set then cut into squares.
