One egg chocolate cake is a soft, sinfully-delicious and very quick cake recipe. The use of honey makes this cake moist and absolutely delicious. You can substitute honey with golden syrup also, again it comes down to your preference. This moist chocolate cake can be used as a basic sponge cake for birthdays, anniversaries, or for any other special occasion. To add an extra yumm, you can top this cake with a chocolate icing or even serve this with fresh cream and fruits, fill it with whipped cream, chocolate ganache, jam or keep it plain with just some powdered sugar sprinkled over the top.
I am absolutely in love with this cake and so are my friends. Hope you too enjoy this cake…..
