PEANUT BUTTER OAT SMOOTHIE

Peanut butter oat smoothie is a healthy blend of oats and peanut butter. Adding oats to a smoothie is a good way to insure it will be filling enough to last through a busy morning. To make sure they blend evenly, pulse them in the blender until they form a coarse flour before adding the other ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup low-fat yogurt
  • 5 cubes ice

Directions

  • In a blender, pulse oats until a rough flour forms.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
