Summer is in full swing over here this week with temperatures shooting up to high 20 degrees, and the days are getting warmer. With the fear of Corona everywhere we seldom go outside, we are spending the day outside in our backyard, and I’m loving every second of it! And when it comes to having dessert, it’s getting too hot to have something warm. Luckily, I’ve found the perfect solution, and I am so excited to share this cool and refreshing watermelon avocado banana smoothie with you to make at home!
All the ingredients are easily available with most of us. All you need for this recipe is some fresh watermelon pieces, some fresh avocado and banana slices. Don’t worry if you don’t have avocado, you can skip it and just go for a simple watermelon banana smoothie. Now, let’s get to the recipe of this yummy summer treat…..
Ingredients
- 1 cup Watermelon pieces, cubes
- ½ cup Avocado pieces, cubes
- ½ a Banana, cut into pieces
- 1 cup Milk (any type)
- 1 tbsp. Honey, optional
- Few ice cubes
- Watermelon pieces, for garnish
- Mint leaves, for garnish
Method
- In a blender, first add cubed watermelon pieces.
- Next add avocado pieces and banana pieces.
- Again, add milk and honey (if adding) to the blender.
- Blend until it becomes smooth and creamy.
- Take ice cubes in a tall glass and pour the blended smoothie into it.
- Garnish with watermelon slices and mint leaves.
- Serve chilled. Yummy!!
